Increase of foreign tourists and revenues from international tourism recorded during the first 7 months

Statistics show 15% increase of foreign tourists and 12% of revenue from international tourism in the country for the period from January to August. This was announced by the vice-chairman of the State Agency for Tourism Hristo Hristov during the opening of Smolian International Tourism Fair "Bulgarian Mountains - hospitality in four seasons.

4.3 million foreign tourists visited the country during the first seven months, the highest is the proportion of Romanians - 732 000 and Greece - 529 000. The revenues in international tourism reached 1.5 billion euros. Nearly one billion euros is the cost of Bulgarian
tourists rested abroad, which is 25% more than the same period last year.
